Thanks to our wonderful supporters, PHH can support hundreds of terminally ill people and their families who need our help every year.
We simply can’t do it without you.
PHH gratefully acknowledges the support we have received during the last financial year from individual donors, businesses, philanthropic trusts and foundations.
Thanks to our wonderful supporters, PHH can support hundreds of terminally ill people and their families who need our help every year. We simply can't do it without you.
As a not-for-profit community organisation, we rely on the generosity of many people to support people with a life limiting illness to live, die and grieve well.
There are many ways you can donate to our organisation so PHH can continue to support people who are living with a life limiting illness in their own home.
The kindness and generosity of individuals, businesses, volunteers, trusts and foundations are essential in funding the work of PHH and there are many different ways you can be involved and show your support.
As PHH has deductible gift recipient (DGR) status, all donations over $2 are tax deductible. You can donate through our mycause donation page below.
By becoming a PHH Pledge Supporter, you can make an ongoing difference to the lives who are living with a life limiting illness. You can pledge a regular monthly, quarterly, yearly or once-off donation and PHH will do the rest. No more forms, cheques, postage.
More and more people are also choosing to ask friends and family to make a donation to PHH in lieu of a gift for their birthday, anniversary, Christmas or other celebrations.
The choice of amount is yours and will be charged directly to your credit card at the nominated intervals - simple and easy and you will be issued your total pledge amount donated at the end of each financial year.
Your pledge can be as short term or permanent as you wish and can be cancelled or changed at any time by notifying PHH in writing.
In Memory Donations
Supporters, or their families, sometimes chose to help PHH by requesting that donations be made to the charity at their funeral, in lieu of flowers. We can provide In Memory envelopes or collection cans if required or donations can be made online.
“Giving is not just about making a donation. It's about making a difference ”
President and Chief Executive Officer of the United Nations Foundation
A bequest is a gift left in a Will (be it money, shares, property or other valuable items). It is an investment in the future, in the wellbeing and quality of life for others who come after us, a truly lasting legacy.
While family and friends should rightly come first, the addition of a gift in your Will to a cause you are passionate about means you can touch many lives. Your gift, no matter how large or small, will make a difference.
PHH thanks and honours the individuals and families who have left bequests to PHH, knowing that this special gift will have significant impact into the
future by allowing us to plan services and programs in advance. PHH advise you seek professional legal advice to confirm the correct expression of
intent in any new or existing Wills.
Suggested wording to include in your Will:
I give, devise and bequeath unto Peninsula Home Hospice for its general purposes, (a specified sum), or (specified items), or (the residue of my Estate) free of all duties, and the receipt of the Director or other authorised office of the time being shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s).
PHH Foundation - Building the Future
"As demand on our service continues to grow, PHH must do the same if we are to meet that need" - Helen Fairlie, PHH Chair.
To enable PHH to continue to serve its community, the PHH Board of Directors decided last year it was time for PHH to obtain its own building. In response to this decision, the PHH Foundation, a capital fundraising committee, was established in January 2015 to raise the funds required.
In 2015, PHH purchased its new home at 327-331 Main Street Mornington and the entire team moved there in October 2016. Since the purchase, the PHH Foundation has been working hard at raising the $5 million required for the overall project, aptly titled BUILDING THE FUTURE.
The BUILDING THE FUTURE campaign is a one-off fundraising project that has been established specifically to raise funds for our new premises. It is distinctly separate from our on-going need for regular giving by our donors who generously support our service delivery to clients.
If you are able to give a little extra towards our BUILDING THE FUTURE campaign, it would be greatly appreciated. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and together we can ensure the future growth of home-based palliative care in the future. You can donate through our mycause donation page below.
