STRATEGIC PLAN
The PHS Strategic Plan 2008-2018 was developed by the PHS Board and provides shared focus for the next decade and strategic directions for the future. It is a framework for building on past achievements whilst recognising the need for organisation change and growth.Our strategic goal for 2018 is that:
By 2018, to be a leading palliative care specialist service PHS will have expanded its services into broader aspects of palliative care with an emphasis on early intervention and maximizing of life. The organisation will be highly visible, effectively networked and collaborating with the community and service providers, supported by a team of skilled health care staff and trained volunteers, and appropriately resourced.
The future we are seeking for the next 10 years focuses on four main areas:
- Service Delivery
- Capacity and Sustainability
- Governance and Leadership
- Profile and Awareness
